She won MTV Movie Award and Young Hollywood Awards and received Teen Choice Award nomination for her fabulous performance in the movie "Traffic" [2000].

Erika also won Screen Actors Guild Award for the film "Traffic" [2000] shared with other members of the crew.

Erika supports the charity organizations and events like Mothers Against Violence in America, Ronald McDonald House for children with cancer, Narconon, Save the Music Foundation, Students Against Violence, and Kids on Stage for a Better World.

Christensen was named one of People magazine's "Breakthrough Stars of 2001".

In 2005, she briefly went into music as she recorded a version of 'Let's Fall In Love' with John Stevens for his debut album "Red".

She also made a cameo in the award-winning music video called 'UNITED' by Taron Lexton in 2004. Erika Christensen also appeared in Fefe Dobson's music video of 'Everything' in 2004.
